This would make ICM the first ever company to win the award three times in succession, with the firm having been shortlisted again this year, for 6 consecutive years. Voted for by industry peers and clients, the CIR Awards are widely recognised as the premier acknowledgment for firms within the fields of business continuity and operational risk management and this shortlisting reflects another year of strong growth and outstanding service delivery at ICM. Since 2003 ICM has dominated the CIR Service Provider category, with the awards reflecting concurrent years of outstanding growth, customer satisfaction and respect from the firm’s industry counterparts. Last year ICM swept the board at the awards, winning both Service Provider of the Year and Personality of the Year for MD Mike Osborne. Additionally the Lifetime Achievement Award was won by ICM-nominated Dennis Thomas, former head of NDR, and ICM assisted its client Commerzbank to win Strategy of The Year. Additionally, ICM is also celebrating its client Melton Borough Council, which has made it to the awards finals in the category for Most Effective Recovery alongside Threadneedle Asset Management which is shortlisted for the Business Continuity Strategy of the Year.
