Standards Australia releases three-part draft business continuity standard

It appears that Standards Australia and its publishing partner SAI Global have suspended the development of the standard highlighted below. More details about this here.

Standards Australia has released a draft version of its three-part ‘Australian and New Zealand Standards for business continuity management’. This will become AS 5050 when it is completed.

Public comments on the draft standard are being invited, with a deadline of 29th April 2009.

The three parts of the draft standard can be downloaded as free of charge PDFs from the following links (registration required):

- DR 09013 – BCM System – Specification (to be AS 5050.1)

- DR 09014 – BCM System – Practise Standard (to be AS 5050.2)

- DR 09015 – BCM System – Audit and Assurance Standard (to be AS 5050.3)
