The EU Agency ENISA (European Network and Information Security Agency) has launched ‘Country Reports’, a 600 page document which reports on the status of Network and Information Security (NIS) in each EU Member State and the 3 EEA countries (Iceland, Lichtenstein and Norway).
The categorization and mapping of stakeholders and their mutual relations was one of the most important aims of the report. Another important area was charting where national-level organizations have an impact on NIS, including such things as policy development, NIS policy implementation, privacy and data protection, electronic communications, critical infrastructure protection / critical information infrastructure protection, and computer emergency response teams.
