Claimed to be a unique product, a GPS panic alarm has been launched that works in existing mobile devices and sends the exact location of a person in trouble. The panic alarm is a key feature of personal tracking software developed by leading GPS tracking company VeriLocation and has many potential uses for human resource business continuity.
The device enables the user to get rapid help should they have an accident or find themselves in a dangerous situation. All the user has to do is hold a key down on the device for three seconds to quickly send an alert. Their exact location is then automatically sent to a control centre, which is manned 24 hours a day. Once the alarm has been raised the control centre will continue to track the location of the device and pass that information to police.
The tracking software can also be used by businesses to track the location of a device at any time and get alerts when it enters pre-defined areas.
The information generated by the device is viewed on a normal internet browser.
