JBTGlobal to offer business continuity training to the US market

JBTGlobal is licensed by the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) to deliver accredited business continuity training courses, with additional specialty in risk management, intelligence and security consultancy for commercial enterprises.

The company has delivered business continuity management projects and training for both large and small government and private sector clients including the Australian Defence Force, ANZ Bank, Shell, Fujitsu, Hewlett Packard, IBM Vodafone, HSBC and other corporations and organisations globally.

JBTGlobal Director, Paul Trebilcock, said that the company had broad experience in developing tailored business continuity plans that have been tested and proven to be effective in real incidents.

“Our solutions are practical and our business acumen ensures they are appropriate and cost effective - key considerations in the current financial crisis,” Mr Trebilcock said.

“Our expansion into the US market is based on the success of our courses conducted in Australia, and is approved by the BCI to commence in January 2009,” he said.

The USA course schedule for 2009 includes:

Seattle (26-30 January), San Jose (2-6 February), Los Angeles (2-6 March), Houston (9-13 March), San Diego (20-24 April), Dallas (27 April – 1 May), Houston (25 – 29 May), Los Angeles (1-5 June), Seattle (6-10 July) and Oakland (13-17 July).

“We also offer in-house training options – including case studies tailored to the client’s industry,” Mr Trebilcock said.
