EEMA, the independent, European, not-for-profit
association for e-Business, has released the programme for its fifth
European security conference and exhibition - ISSE (Information
Security Solutions Europe) to be held at the Austrian Federal Economic
Chamber in Vienna from 7th – 9th October. The three-day conference
will tackle key security issues including: Trustworthy wireless
solutions; Managed enterprise security; The legal foundation; Threats
and countermeasures; and Network security and secure public services.
The ISSE 2003 programme has taken ten months
to compile, headed by TeleTrusT (a German security association)
leading a 25-strong programme committee consisting of representatives
from organisations such as ABN AMRO (The Netherlands), DaimlerChrysler
(Germany), Mastercard (Belgium), Microsoft (Belgium), European Commission,
KPMG (The Netherlands), University of Klagenfurt (Austria), University
of Vienna (Austria), National Institute for R&D in Informatics
(Romania), The Office for Personal Data Protection (Czech Republic),
Telecom Italia Group (Italy) and BMWA (Germany).
