Business continuity in Northern Ireland

Get free weekly news by e-mailJust over half of businesses in Northern Ireland have a business continuity plan, according to a survey by Goldblatt McGuigan which was published in the Belfast Telegraph.

The survey found that while 60 percent of companies surveyed had experienced some disruption or crisis which had affected their operation in the last two years, only 54 percent had a business continuity plan.

Losing key staff, phones, computers or utility supplies were the ‘biggest potential headaches for businesses in Northern Ireland’ and the effect of extreme weather was highlighted by just under one fifth of businesses. More details
