ICM upgrades Birmingham business continuity centre

Get free weekly news by e-mailICM Business Continuity Services has been upgrading its business continuity centre in Aston, Birmingham. The state of the art facility, which is also the headquarters for the £50m turnover ICM Continuity Services, will be officially opened on 21st October.

The facility underpins all of ICM's national services and offers disaster recovery amenities to firms across the wider Midlands region, providing up to 450 work area positions and a 100 rack data centre.

Mike Osborne, managing director, ICM Continuity Services commented "The launch of our Aston facility heralds a new era in business continuity for the West Midlands, Our additional £2.5m investment into the Aston site has created a unique facility for clients that can comprehensively cover all their office business continuity and IT disaster recovery requirements”.

"With flooding, power and utility failures and terrorism as much a current issue to Birmingham business as is it for those in London, our clients across the Midlands and particularly the Birmingham City Centre business district, have never been better protected. This launch means that should the worst happen, ICM is on their doorstep with workarea continuity and IT recovery facilities that are second to none".
