ASIS and DRII to meet to discuss business continuity standards dispute

Get free weekly news by e-mailASIS has reported that it has scheduled a meeting on October 3, 2008 with DRII representatives at the ASIS International Headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia. At the meeting delegates from both organizations will discuss DRII’s opposition to the ASIS business continuity management ANSI PINS standards project. The meeting is being held as a ‘stakeholder group deliberation meeting’ which is one of the ANSI Essential Requirements for standards development.

The meeting is open to other interested parties to attend but space constraints mean that attendance is restricted to 35 people.
