OpsPlanner release 4.0 released: includes BIA Expert

Paradigm Solutions International, a provider of business continuity management/continuity of operations (COOP) solutions and services, has announced the general release of OpsPlanner version 4.0.

OpsPlanner version 4.0 is a comprehensive business continuity plan development, business impact analysis (BIA), crisis/recovery management, and emergency notification solution.

Incorporated into the toolset are industry specific survey capabilities, recovery scripts, planning templates, and checklists, to expedite the planning needed to prepare for, manage and recover from any type of business disruption.

A major enhancement of OpsPlanner version 4.0 is the addition of the powerful, BIA Expert, an optional feature that seamlessly integrates BIA workflow and data into the OpsPlanner business continuity process without the need to import data, login to a separate system, or manually calculate critical recovery time objectives.

BIA Expert key features:
* An updated set of BIA methodology tasks;
* Dynamically generated BIA surveys based on user definable threshold parameters;
* A complete set of BIA reports including a BIA summary that contains automatically system generated RTO and recovery rankings using innovative algorithms;
* Graphical BIA dependency diagrams of organizational interdependencies.
