Double-Take launches Linux compatible version

Double-Take Software has announced the availability of Double-Take for Linux, making the well-known disaster recovery and high availability data replication product available on Linux for the first time.

Available immediately, Double-Take for Linux provides customers with:

- asynchronous, byte-level, continuous replication
- hardware independence
- open-file mirroring and replication
- unlimited distance replication
- automated failover
- replication scheduling
- centralized backup support.
