The UK Communities and Local Government website has made a new document available with the above title. It provides wide-ranging information on risk assessment for Local Resilience Forums and aims to provide clarity on: what risk assessment tools, techniques and data are:
- available,
- appropriate and effective,
- required and
- already used.

The document reports on the findings of a project to research and produce advice on the availability, selection and use of risk assessment tools, techniques, data and guidance to support the obligations of the LRFs under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 and risk analysis for IRMPs.
