Belinda Wilson joins Business Continuity Journal peer review panel

The Business Continuity Journal is the peer-reviewed professional journal for the BC and DR sector. Every paper published is reviewed and approved by a panel of industry experts, a process which will now be assisted by Ms. Wilson.

Belinda Wilson, CBCP is Executive Director, Business Continuity and Recovery Services for Hewlett-Packard. She is a distinguished authority in the business continuity industry with over 20 years of expertise.

Ms. Wilson created many of HP’s BC solutions including the continuity services portfolio. She has provided expert counsel and advisory services to Fortune 500 clients to help define their BC strategy, policies and programs. She also successfully opened multiple HP data center and office recovery centers to help grow HP’s presence in North America. She was directly involved in helping clients through the 2004 and 2005 hurricanes by ensuring that their plans met their business objectives.

Belinda Wilson is immensely involved with prominent industry organizations, helping to advance the profession by providing thought-leadership and acting as a strong advocate for the industry. Wilson is:

- a member of the Executive Council of the Disaster Recovery Journal (DRJ);
- on the board of the Editorial Advisory Board of Continuity Insights;
- a member of the Financial Services Technology Consortium’s (FSTC) Business Continuity Committee;
- a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP);
- inducted into the CPM Vendor Practitioner Hall of Fame;
- served for 10+ years on the DRII Board of Directors;
- a member of the Forbes Advisory Panel and
- a member of Gartner’s Customer Research Business and Technology Advisory Panel.

Wilson holds a bachelor's of science degree in computer applications and systems from California State University at Fresno and resides in Carlsbad, CA.
