May 25th to May 31st will be Hurricane Preparedness Week in the United States.

The week will focus on providing information on the need for disaster preparedness by both businesses and individuals.

Each day of the week will have a particular theme. This will be:

• Monday 26 May 08: Hurricane Hazards
• Tuesday 27 May 08: Hurricane Hazards
• Wednesday 28 May 08: Hurricane Hazards
• Thursday 29 May 08: Forecast
• Friday 30 May 08: Prepare
• Saturday 31 May 08: Act.

Business can use Hurricane Preparedness Week as a way of raising awareness for business continuity and disaster recovery and can also advise employees to make family and individual preparations.
