Ireland-based Continuum Consultancy has been presented with the ICT Excellence Awards 2008 'Technology Partnership of the Year Award' for its Continuum Plus crisis communications software. This was the result of a collaboration of two distinctly different companies with different markets – Continuum Consultancy and Phonovation. The result, Continuum Plus, can e-mail, SMS and call 3,000 people in two minutes and contact 6,000 staff and confirm their status in four minutes, at the same time instigating one or more conference bridges - allowing a crisis management team to start working on an emergency straight away.

Continuum’s managing director, Eilish McGuinness, stated:
