FEMA announces next meeting of the National Advisory Council

FEMA has announced that the next meeting of the National Advisory Council (NAC)will take place Tuesday, February 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Wednesday February 13, 2008, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Washington Marriott Hotel, 1221 22nd Street, NW., Washington, DC.

Along with the swearing in of new NAC members at the February meeting, the Council will be briefed on their comments to the National Response Framework, Integrated Planning System, FEMA's draft Strategic Plan, Regional Advisory Council updates, and other topics as appropriate. They will also discuss their comments on the draft Strategic Plan, private sector relationships, and council members will be provided time to raise areas of potential consideration as well.
