The course has been developed to further enhance the knowledge of the experienced business continuity practitioner. This course is less suitable to people who have recently been appointed to a business continuity position. The course will be interactive. Participants are encouraged to bring with them issues and concerns that will be discussed during the course.
Crisis Management Workshop
5 March 2008, Sydney
The objectives of this workshop are to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to be able to develop a crisis management framework for their company, understand business continuity management and risk management, understand the interlinks with business continuity planning, develop a crisis management plan and test a crisis management plan.
Introductory Business Continuity Management Workshop
19 March 2008, Sydney
The workshop shows the BCM process and its relationship to crisis management, disaster recovery, risk and compliance. The aim is to highlight the importance of taking an holistic approach to BCM on an organisation wide basis.
Testing IT DR Workshop
27 March 2008, Sydney
This course covers the fundamentals of planning for and executing IT disaster recovery tests. Delegates will gain an understanding of how IT disaster recovery fits in the bigger scheme of crisis and business continuity management and how the IT DR plan can be tested in isolation of them. All participants will be given an opportunity to plan and run a hypothetical test using DR scenarios and test templates provided during the course.
