End of the road in sight for BS25999 part two

BSI Management Systems has informed Continuity Central that BS 25999-2:2007 Business Continuity Management Part Two: Specification, the companion document to part one of the BS25999 Business Continuity Management British Standard, will be published by the end of November. This is approximately a month later than initially expected.

The delay in publication is due to difficulties in finalising one or two aspects of the final BS25999 part two document, and it is to BSI’s credit that it allowed extra time for this process, rather than attempting to short-circuit decision making on contentious areas simply to meet an artificial deadline.
