Management systems certification, verification and training body, LRQA has launched a range of services for organisations wanting to meet the requirements of business continuity standard, BS 25999 part 2.
LRQA is now able to provide a full range of services including public training courses and pre-assessment options in addition to formal certification. Key to LRQA’s service is its commitment to providing highly trained assessors.
Denis Ives, LRQA Business Centre Manager explains: “Being able to field appropriately trained assessors who have undergone rigorous BCI–accredited training is a crucial element in being able to provide a high quality service to organisations, that is, people who are able to add real value through meaningful assessments.
“Organisations involved in providing critical services to local authorities, those in the supply chain to major manufacturers and service providers in addition to those needing to meet regulatory or legal obligations will all find themselves in the position of needing robust business continuity planning procedures in place. Certification will offer these organisations an important market differentiator. While choosing LRQA to work with sends a powerful signal to its stakeholders that they mean business,” he concludes.
