Inaugural Business Continuity Institute Certificate examination to be held during October

Get free weekly news by e-mailThe Business Continuity Institute has announced that the first BCI Certificate examination will be held sometime during October 2007. The two hour, 125 question, online examination will be held at numerous venues internationally, with the exact dates and times still to be confirmed. The exam sessions will be initially offered four times a year and currently cost £170, €250 or $350.

From 1st January 2008 all applicants for ABCI must hold the BCI Certificate and from 1st April 2008 all applicants for SBCI and MBCI will be required to hold the BCI Certificate as well as undergo scored assessment.

Existing ABCIs who wish to upgrade will be able to do so until the 1st April 2008 by submitting a scored assessment form. After that time they will also need to hold the BCI Certificate in addition to undergoing scored assessment.
