Jefferson Parish launches the ‘Business Continuity Network’

Last week, Jefferson Parish launched the Business Continuity Network, a web-based program designed to enable better communication with and between local businesses in the event of a disaster.

The Business Continuity Network allows business owners to create profiles for their firms and to provide up-to-date contact information.

During a disaster, businesses can use the Business Continuity Network website to provide information for staff and customers and the local emergency planning team can use the site to provide vital disaster recovery and evacuation information.
