SunGard schedules official opening of new Leatherhead recovery centre

On 18th October, SunGard Availability Services will hold a launch event for its new Leatherhead recovery centre. The day will start and finish at the Woodlands Park Hotel, Cobham and will include:

- A tour of the Leatherhead recovery centre
- Various seminar sessions
- A BS 25999 workshop.

The Leatherhead recovery centre is already open for customers that have subscribed to dedicated disaster recovery facilities and should be functional for customers requiring shared space by the end of August. The centre offers:

• Total recovery area: 62,000 sq ft
• Tier-II computer equipment room
• 1,200 recovery positions
• 17 suites.
