Continuity² launches two-year business continuity training programme

Get free weekly news by e-mailContinuity² has announced the availability of a new business continuity training course which is carried out during various sessions over a two year period, allowing students to develop their business continuity knowledge whilst carrying on their ‘day job’.

The new course, called ‘Business Continuity Professional Training’, has been designed for those charged with implementing business continuity within an organisation. Training is delivered via classroom, one-to-one mentoring and on-the-job coaching. Each student is allocated a qualified business continuity consultant to act as a personal tutor. By the end of the course, participants will be fully competent to carry out their business continuity role and will have reached a stage where they are ready to apply for accreditation by the Business Continuity Institute.

Key features of the course:
* Incorporates training licensed by the Business Continuity Institute (BCI)
* Aligned with the new British Standard (BS 25999)
* One-to-one mentoring by business continuity consultants
* Supports attainment of the BCI MBCI certification
* Practical experience includes
- Conducting business impact analysis and tailoring them to your organisation
- Developing plans and all levels
- Planning and running exercises
- Understanding and mitigating risks.
