Springfield, Australia, to get two new disaster recovery centres

According to Australian IT News, IBM is planning to build a business continuity centre in the area, which is expected to open sometime in late 2008, or early 2009.

Meanwhile, Springfield Land Corporation is well underway with the planning of its ‘Polaris’, Tier III+ data centre. This $212 million development is a dedicated co-location facility offering 6000m2 of raised floor space over 3 levels. Completion of this facility is expected by June 2008.
