BSI Management Systems is planning three simultaneous launch events in London, New York and Tokyo to officially unveil BS 25999 Part 2, the specification standard for business continuity management.
At each venue BSI will help you understand the content of BS 25999 and how Part 2 will allow for independent third-party certification.
BS 25999 Part 1 (published by BSI in late 2006) is a business continuity management good practice guidance document; but the publication of Part 2 provides the framework and requirements for managing business continuity and the opportunity for you to demonstrate good practice to your stakeholders.
BSI says that the events will allow you to:
* Familiarize yourself with the content of BS 25999 and the certification process.
* See how certification will benefit your business by enhancing your resilience while identifying business improvement opportunities.
* Learn how you can measure your business continuity management capability in a consistent and recognized manner using internationally accepted and proven practices.
* Discover how certification can help you improve your bottom line and win more business.
* Find out how certification can help you manage your supply chain.
* Understand the steps you need to take to be certified to the standard.
* Gain competitive advantage by being among the first organizations to be certified.
* Learn from business continuity experts on their experiences with BS 25999.
* Network and learn from peers in your industry sector.
* Take the opportunity to attend a BSI BS 25999 training course following the event.
