The Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) has announced that registration for the multi-week, US financial services sector pandemic exercise is now open. The Securities Industry and Financial Management Association (SIFMA), the Financial Services Sector Coordinating Council for Critical Infrastructure Protection and Homeland Security (FSSCC) and the Financial and Banking Information Infrastructure Committee (FBIIC) will sponsor the event. Registration is open through August 31st and early registration is encouraged through the website www.fspanfluexercise.com.
All members of the US financial services industry (securities, banking, credit unions, insurance, service providers, etc.) are invited to register for this no-fee exercise. The pre-exercise preparatory phase will be accessible online from September 17 through September 23. The interactive exercise itself will begin on September 24 and conclude for participants on October 11.
