ALARM Annual Awards 2007

2007 is the fourteenth successful year of the ALARM Award Scheme, which was set up to ‘enable enable risk managers across the public sector to achieve recognition for their risk management initiatives and to highlight the benefits that these have provided to their organisations’.

This year saw a record number of entries for the ALARM Awards and the judges were highly impressed with the breadth and standard of the nominations.

The winners were:

Risk Manager of the Year, sponsored by RMP: Jan Collins, Swindon Borough Council

People Risk, sponsored by Capita BEST: Sunderland City Council

Asset Risk, sponsored by Zurich Municipal: Wirral Council

Strategic Risk, sponsored by Zurich Municipal: London Borough of Croydon

Operational Risk, sponsored by St Paul Travelers: Sunderland City Council
