The British Standards Institution (BSI) has announced that it is to run a one-day event on 25 September 2007 to provide information about part two of BS 25999. This will be the official launch conference for the second part of the business continuity management British Standard and will brief delegates on its contents and will explain what organisation’s will need to do to meet its specifications. BS 25999 part one – published by BSI in 2006 – gives guidance on good business continuity practice, but part two gives the details of the specifications that will need to be met by anyone wishing to declare that they are compliant with, or certified to, BS 25999.
Bookings are not yet being taken, but due to the sell-out success of the BS 25999 Part 1 launch event last December, you can register your interest and add your name to a priority conference booking list. Visit www.bsi-global.com/bs25999-2conference for more information.
