Chris Green, the chairman of the Business Continuity Institute, has announced that the BCI is planning to launch a series of special interest groups (SIGs) later in 2007.
Writing in the BCI’s recent membership newsletter, Mr. Green said that the SIGs ‘will be held in a virtual environment to ensure that all BCI members are able to participate’.
Workshops to support the SIGs will also be developed some of which will be run virtually and some face-to-face.
“This is an exciting undertaking for the BCI”, said Mr.Green, “And one which will lead to the further development of excellent sources of expert information and best practice.”
