Continuity Forum has published the results of its latest comprehensive survey of UK business continuity salaries. This year’s survey generated almost 1400 respondents.
Overall, salaries have risen compared to last year’s survey, with private sector salaries rising by 6.4 percent and the public sector dropping further behind, with a 1.2 percent rise. The banking, finance and insurance sector saw the highest rise, with average salaries up 8.7 percent.
The overall average salary for business continuity professionals is now £45,552. In the banking, finance and insurance sector the average is £52,520. The average public sector salary is a much lower £34,500. Self employed consultants or contractors achieved an annual average remuneration approaching £84,000.
