Senate Committee to review federal government’s telework policy

The US Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs’s Subcommittee on Oversight of Government Management, the Federal Workforce, and the District of Columbia will hold a hearing on 12 June which will review the federal government’s telework policy and discuss S. 1000, the Telework Enhancement Act of 2007.

In its notice concerning the meeting, the Senate Committee states that telework has become an increasingly critical component of the federal government’s efforts to develop continuity of operations plans and to effectively manage its human capital.
