West Yorkshire gets a new workplace recovery centre

SunGard Availability Services officially opened its latest recovery centre in Elland on 23rd May. Local businesses that are already signed up to use the new facility include Kingston Asset Finance and Irwin Mitchell.

The Elland centre offers over 360 workplace recovery positions across six suites. It also provides data centre space; a conference room; four meeting rooms and two server rooms.

The centre features energy-efficient plant that qualifies for the UK Government’s Enhanced Capital Allowances scheme, which supports business investment in low carbon technologies.

The opening events included a series of seminar sessions looking at the importance of BS 25999.
