SchlumbergerSema expands business continuity services in the US

SchlumbergerSema has announced that it has expanded its DeXa.Ensure business recovery facilities near New York City, following the signing-up of several new, top-tier customers in the financial industry. The latest investment means that SchlumbergerSema has more than tripled its US-based business continuity facilities since last year.

"Companies selecting Schlumberger DeXa.Ensure services number nearly 1,000 worldwide, with 60 in the United States alone," said Goh Hock, president, Network and Infrastructure Services, SchlumbergerSema. "We see business continuity services at one extreme of the security continuum, and take each customer's specific needs into consideration before applying a security solution that best fits their operations and strategies."

DeXa.Ensure is the service offering of Schlumberger global business continuity services. It provides on-site facilities for business continuity and replication, but also enables customers to integrate networking, storage and security with their business critical information systems and physical facilities. The Schlumberger model for business recovery is flexible, guaranteeing clients a minimum level of service during peak demand cycles to resolve their business recovery needs.
