In 2003, the BSI published PAS 1188, Publicly Available Specification for flood protection products. This is now due for a review and the British Standards Institution is inviting industry professionals to participate by providing feedback.

There are three parts of PAS 1188 that are up for review:

• Part 1 Building apertures
• Part 2 Temporary and demountable products
• Part 3 Building skirt systems

The review will assess the overall value of the specification to the user community as well as changes and updates which are required to the technical content.
