Business Continuity Institute publishes Good Practice Guidelines 2007

Get free weekly news by e-mailThe Business Continuity Institute first published the 'Good Practice Guidelines' in 2002. They were developed by a committee of business continuity professionals and aimed to capture business continuity best practice. The guidelines were reissued in 2005 following an extensive rewrite. This process has now been repeated to ensure that the Good Practice Guidelines are fully in-line with BS 25999-1, the new Code of Practice for Business Continuity Management.

The BCI says that the Good Practice Guidelines 2007 can be viewed as an implementation guide to BS25999 and as a definitive text for those wishing to understand business continuity management principles and practices in a more comprehensive manner.
