Implementing a BCM Infrastructure

This three day practical course provides you with a comprehensive understanding of business continuity management. On completion of the course, you will be able to successfully implement, manage and maintain business continuity plans within your organisation. By understanding the processes involved in BCM, you will also be better prepared to review and audit existing plans.
Implementing a BCM Infrastructure Under The Civil Contingencies Act
This two day practical course will provide Category 1 responders with a comprehensive understanding of business continuity management as well as an awareness of the BCM related issues, and implications of the Civil Contingencies Act (CCA). The course condenses and combines the legislation with industry best practice and experience. Theory is underpinned and applied via the use of interactive learning techniques. A series of workshops have been carefully tailored to demonstrate practical application at each stage of the business continuity management process. Course content is based on the UK Government’s best practice guidance.
Understanding BS 25999

BS 25999 is emerging as the new standard for the business continuity industry. It will provide an industry standard framework for every organisation which has already, or has plans to implement and maintain a business continuity programme.
Attendance on this course will enable you to gain a high level overview of BS 25999 and understand what it means to your organisation. Content is based on the requirements of the standard, which was created with the involvement of many key industry figures, including Siemens Insight Consulting.
