Pawel Wozniak of Hewlett Packard, Poland, has won the first Business Continuity Student of the Year Award. The award, given by Continuity Shop, was judged by Lyndon Bird FBCI, Mike Mikkelsen FBCI and Helen Sweet, and was given to the Continuity Shop course delegate judged to be the most deserving out of the more than 1,000 students who attended BCI-Endorsed training courses in 2005 and 2006.
The judges stated that: “Pawel is an exceptional student. He has an enquiring mind, an ability to rapidly take on board new ideas and to interpret them for his own work environment.” His prize is a free Siemens-Insight training course.
Runners up were Tina Dearing of Marks and Spencer, Jamie Stephen of the Metropolitan Police. Tom Keegan of 02 and Chris Holsborough of Banca Populare di Lodi were Highly Commended.
