The Business Continuity Institute (BCI) has announced that for the first time it is to develop and deliver its own business continuity management training services.
No details of the courses to be offered have been given, but these will be based on BCI’s Good Practice Guidelines and the new business continuity British Standard, BS25999. The Business Continuity Institute says that ‘the programme will be developed initially in the English language with opportunities to deliver the programme internationally, and in translation, being offered under licence from the BCI.’
The BCI says that the decision to offer training services is in respond to demand.
