Phoenix IT Group publishes positive results

Get free weekly news by e-mailPhoenix IT Group plc the UK-based IT services company, which includes NDR, the disaster recovery and business continuity supplier, has published its interim results for the six months ended 30 September 2006.

While general revenue and profits remained flat compared to the same period in 1995 (revenue 2006: £54.4m 2005: £54.8m; profit from operations 2006: £9.7m 2005: £9.6m) revenues contributed by NDR rose from £7.3m in 2005 to £9.2m in 2006.

During the six month period NDR opened an East Midlands disaster recovery facility using an existing Phoenix building and won its largest ever contract. The contract has a value of over £700,000 over three years and covers disaster recovery and two of NDR's newer services - consulting and remote real-time data back-up. This contract was a landmark for NDR where the average contract size is £12,000 per annum.

NDR is currently working on an expansion of its City of London disaster recovery facility which will come on stream early in 2007.
