'The Definitive Handbook of Business Continuity Management', first published by Wiley in 1999, has been through many editions and is now due for an update. The publishers would like to invite suitably qualified authors to submit chapters on the following topics:

- Business continuity management for medium sized enterprises
- Business continuity management for multinationals
- Disaster avoidance
- Risk evaluation and control
- International guidelines and standards for business continuity management

- Working with EMERGENCY AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES
- Latest developments in backups
- Crisis communication
- Case studies of real disasters and lessons learned

Material would be copyright Wiley and contributions are required by 3rd January 2007. An international spread would be helpful. Each contribution should be around 5,000 - 6,000 words with any accompanying illustrations in greyscale.

Please also include about 30 words of biography that would preface your contribution. If the material has previously been published, please forward it, details of where and when it has previously been published and an assurance that the author retains copyright.
