| The Neverfail Group has announced that a new, independent study by ExtremeLabs has found that Neverfail outperformed its competitors in a comparative review of failover products on the Microsoft Exchange platform.
“Neverfail provided the best protection for many of the potential causes of failure (hardware, network, software, performance, configuration, disaster), something competitive offerings did not provide,” said Tom Henderson, principal researcher for ExtremeLabs, in the report.
The results also showed that only Neverfail provides the architecture and feature set to minimise application downtime and ensure end-user continuity by allowing users to continue working without restarting their applications.
The ExtremeLabs report also called Neverfail SCOPE that is ‘impressive’ and confirmed that it enables an organization to take proactive measures to ensure Neverfail implementation success. SCOPE is used to analyse target servers in order to determine whether corrections, optimizations, or other site-specific selections need to be deployed.
The review also found that Neverfail excelled in the following categories:
* Neverfail was the fastest to detect server issues and to failover;
* Neverfail covers the most potential causes of failover;
* Neverfail offers detailed monitoring that competing solutions cannot match;
* Neverfail offers out-of-the-box integration with anti-virus products.
The test criteria included solution completeness (ability to handle different failure types), speed of failover, ability to recover from a failover without the need to restart applications, installation and synchronization, and overall management.
The tests were performed in ExtremeLabs facility in Indianapolis, IN on identically configured servers without intervention from any of the vendors.
