Thursday 31st August 2006 is the deadline for submitting comments to the British Standards Institution on BS 25999-1, the new Code of Practice on Business Continuity Management.
On Thursday 24th August, Automata will hold a one day working conference to help you ensure you and your organisation's voice is heard. The day will commence with registration at 9.30 am. Garry Poole BA Hons FBCI, Automata's managing director, will chair the proceedings.
The day will be held at Automata's first class conference centre in Northamptonshire and will commence by giving delegates a structured walkthrough of the draft standard. Its provisions will then be thoroughly discussed and Automata will record individual and collective comments.
Following the conference Automata will submit a draft reply to the British Standards Institution consultation to all delegates for approval. A final copy will then be sent to the British Standards Institution on behalf of all and copied to each delegate.
The fee for the conference including lunch, refreshments and replying to the British Standards Institution on behalf of delegates will be £270 + VAT. This includes accommodation the night before the conference with full breakfast and use of all leisure facilities.
