The service leverages One Network's broad network-based logistics, real time load tracking, inventory management, replenishment, labor scheduling and collaboration capabilities.

The Disaster Management Network was jointly designed with input from several major retailers, manufacturers, carriers and US Federal Government agency personnel. The service is being launched with a major retailer who will be using the service during the current hurricane season in the United States.

The Network enables companies to rapidly respond to radically altered demand, supply and logistics requirements caused by either internal or natural disaster events.

The Disaster Network is a global service which provides broad capabilities for complete, real-time enterprise visibility into supply and demand requirements, global load tracking and dynamic shipment rerouting.

"As we have seen in recent years, natural disasters and internal problems can create severe disruptions to demand, supply and logistics execution," said John Keenan, CEO of One Network. "By coupling complete enterprise visibility with a powerful transaction backbone and connections to over 1,200 companies, we are unique in our ability to enable rapid recovery."

The Disaster Management Network is available immediately and is being delivered in a hosted environment by One Network. Customers pay a monthly fee for access to the Business Recovery Applications, hosting services and rapid on-boarding plus transaction fees as the Disaster Network is utilized.
