CitySafe, a UK-based provider of web-based business continuity solutions, has announces the general launch of its Virtual Exercise System (VES), following a pilot project undertaken with the London Metropolitan Police and selected companies.

VES’s secure web-based service allows subscribers to plan and practice their response to disruptive events such as a fire or terrorist attack from their desktop.

Other features offered include ‘Ask the Expert’ which “gives subscribers direct access to key experts within the emergency services and critical service providers such as utilities.” This allows businesses to test any assumptions they may have made in their business continuity plans; to remain up to date with the latest protocol developments; and to identify where their needs may have changed.
