Only six months after the formal opening of its new high-tech business recovery centre in Sydney, Interactive has taken additional space in neighbouring premises to effectively double the centre's capacity and add 10 new jobs in the process.
Announcing the expansion, Interactive managing director Christopher Ride said the company's revenues were running at over 20 percent ahead of last year, as more organisations seek to protect themselves against disruption to their operations as a result of outages to their information technology and telephony infrastructures.
"Executives and their boards know they cannot afford to be complacent about business continuity", said Ride. "The time is long gone when a business or a government department could sustain operations if there was a computer outage or a breakdown in the phone system.
In addition to its expanding facility in Sydney , Interactive delivers similar services from its business recovery centres in Melbourne and Brisbane.
