UK and Europe business continuity salary benchmark study published

BC Management, Inc. has published the UK and European results of its global salary survey, which was supported by Continuity Central and the Business Continuity Institute amongst other organisations.

Over 190 professionals throughout Europe completed the survey, which gathered data on 2004 and 2005 salaries. Of these, 140 responses were from the UK, allowing statistically significant results to be given for this country.

Survey results indicate a 4.2 percent year on year increase in salary for UK-based full time business continuity executives, while independent consultants saw a 2.9 percent increase in payments. Hourly rates for independent consultants varied with an average low hourly rate of £159 and an average high hourly rate of £232.
