Two years ago Continuity Central conducted the most in-depth survey ever into the business continuity training sector. The survey painted a fairly bleak picture of the general perception of the adequacy of training provision. In total 212 responses were received with 78.6 percent of respondents saying that business continuity training opportunities were inadequate.
As part of the survey respondents were asked: “If you could invent your three ideal training courses what would they be?” A list of over 400 separate suggestions for course titles was generated and this has been used by many business continuity training companies as an aid to new course development.
Continuity Central is now repeating the survey, to find out whether the perception of business continuity training has changed and what gaps in provision still remain.
