The Business Continuity Institute and the risk management associations, AIRMIC, ALARM and the IRM, who together have in excess of 7000 members, are to work together where it helps to enhance their individual activities.

Through The Risk Federation, these four mutually owned organisations will “support each other to develop standards and education, develop and publish technical papers and influence government, media and other representative and legislative bodies.”

Membership of The Risk Federation is by invitation and is limited to not-for-profit organisations. Joint Risk Federation seminars and events are planned for 2006 and beyond.
