BCI appoints Technical Services Director

The Business Continuity Institute (BCI) has announced that it has completed its senior management team with the appointment of Lyndon Bird, FBCI, to the role of Technical Services Director.

Lyndon, a previous chairman of the BCI, will focus on raising the profile of the institute and on promoting business continuity management as an essential business discipline.

Current BCI Chairman Steve Mellish commented: “Many of you will know Lyndon Bird and there is no question of his level of commitment and pride in what the BCI stands for. I’m certain he will make a big difference.  Lyndon completes the formation of our senior management team which, along with Lorraine Darke, will, I’m certain, develop as a formidable team, which will not only benefit the membership of the BCI but also the industry as a whole.”
