RecoveryPlanner.com, providers of RecoveryPlanner web-based business continuity planning software, has developed what it claims is the industry’s first Return On Investment (ROI) analysis model for web-based business continuity planning. The RecoveryPlanner BCP ROI Calculator provides a fast and easy way to analyze a firm’s ROI for adoption of web-based BCP software compared to a company’s current methods.

After taking about 10 minutes to fill-in an on-line survey, RecoveryPlanner processes the results and supplies a four to five page report to the participating company. The report explains the value of a web-based planning software platform to management.

The participant can choose between two types of reports. The ‘Quick Version’ report contains variables approximating industry standards to produce an ROI with just a few inputs and the ‘Expanded Version’ report requires more entries and allows adjustments to customize for each situation and to change model assumptions.
